Artist Statement

I create art to communicate the feelings that come up for me when I experience nature. Each painting begins with an experience in nature, that I try to capture in the work.

I feel that art is an even better way to communicate ideas and feelings than words. Art impacts our society, influencing the thoughts and feelings of people, bringing about change.

I desire to influence people to want to experience nature themselves, and to respect it and protect it, so that future generations can experience it as well.

I hope that my art brings hope, happiness, and a desire to help preserve our natural world. Enjoy!
